THE FUTURE OF MODULAR, CONTAINERISED DATA CENTRES IS HERE
Prefabricated, modular, transportable, secure containerised data centres; each datablok is a bespoke turnkey solution created specifically to fit your ICT environmental infrastructure requirements both now and in the future.
Each datablok build is uniquely tailored to the customer’s own specification using the highest quality 10’, 20’ or 40’ ISO-certified containers, ensuring the customer’s requirements for capacity, availability, security and functionality are met. Specifications can include emergency/standby generators, fault-tolerant power and cooling systems, fire detection/suppression, access control systems and comprehensive remote monitoring/management options.
– WHY DATABLOK –
Our valued customers choose a datablok solution for a combination of reasons specific to their ICT infrastructure needs and budget. Key factors supporting the business case include the following:
with Tier-III and Tier-IV fault-tolerant and concurrent-maintainable topologies
– APPLICATIONS –
Applications well suited to the datablok include the physical housing of ICT equipment for production, disaster recovery, backup, development, communication or edge requirements. An ideal solution when the option of using a third-party off-site co-location facilities either in-country or offshore does not satisfy an organisation’s security, cost or performance demands.
Other uses include temporary ICT infrastructure requirements for organisations, data centres, logistics, military or civil defence needs.
The datablok is well suited to provide a cost-effective, secure and high-availability environment for your production hardware. All our solutions are bespoke to ensure they provide value and deliver the required ROI for our customers.
Easily established either as a permanent or a portable ICT disaster recovery environment, the datablok provides the opportunity to design your DR systems to your specific requirements. Options include adding workstations internally for emergency use.
A viable option for project-based ICT environment requirements, the datablok can be deployed in significantly shorter timeframes than a legacy ‘bricks-and-mortar’ data centre, with the option of selling the valuable asset at the completion of the project.
Your datablok solution can be custom designed for a wide range of edge requirements, including micro edge data centres and edge colocation facilities. Fast deployment times and the ability to relocate as demands change make the datablok an ideal choice.

– OUR CAPABILITIES –
Our datablok modular data centre solutions are turnkey, prefabricated and purpose-built to be scalable and rapidly deployable either nationally or globally. The datablok option provides a complete data centre solution including power systems, cooling systems, power distribution systems, cable trays, fibre trays, fire detection and suppression systems, structured cabling, access control, CCTV security systems, lighting and complete data centre monitoring solutions.
We offer a vendor-agnostic approach to allow our customers to choose their preferred hardware. Comprehensive installation and commissioning services are offered during the implementation phase, with full remote and on-site maintenance and support provided for the life of the asset.
Discussions are undertaken to understand your requirements, both now and in the future. We ensure the business case for a datablok is supported and that the required ROI is achieved. We clarify other performance level requirements such as uptime, security, visibility, etc.
During this phase we will complete detailed draft and final design of the physical layout and all technical systems included. Drawings be issued for your comments, feedback and final acceptance.
Your datablok will be built in New Zealand to strict quality control standards. You are welcome to attend construction progress inspections where all aspects of the build are inspected and signed off. Once complete we undertake comprehensive factory acceptance testing (FAT) which you are encouraged to attend and witness.
Once your datablok is installed and commissioned at your site, an ongoing proactive maintenance program is implemented to ensure expected performance metrics are exceeded. Remote real-time monitoring is utilised to assist with the proactive response to any potential technical issues.
– CASE STUDIES –
The datablok product provides an effective means to permanently or temporarily house critical ICT equipment for requirements such as production, disaster recovery, backup, development, communication, edge, logistics, military or civil defence.
Our databloks have been deployed throughout New Zealand and the Pacific.
ST JOHN NEW ZEALAND
Auckland, New Zealand
A production ICT environment was required for the national critical call centre, that would deliver high-availability, security and physical resilience at all times, including in the event of a major civil emergency. The datablok solution ensures that continuity of services is achieved under the above conditions.
Napier, New Zealand
The client had a requirement for two secure, resilient and high availability ICT environments, one for their production needs and the other for disaster recovery. Two databloks were provided, each with fault-tolerant architectures to address the above requirements.
CENTRAL BANK OF SAMOA
A secure, high-availability and physically resilient ICT environment was required for some of the bank’s critical ICT infrastructure. In conjunction with the client a datablok solution was designed, built and delivered to provide both a secure ICT environment and an emergency workstation location.
Kaitaia, New Zealand
A production ICT environment was required to accommodate critical operational ICT systems to support the Top Energy regional electrical distribution network. A high availability, secure and fault-tolerant datablok with comprehensive remote monitoring and visibility was provided to meet this need.
